Although there is no fee for meals, our Wayne County Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council recommends that a minimum of $2.50 donation be offered for each meal or $12.50 for frozen 5-pack meals. We realize that, given the opportunity, people enjoy contributing to services offered to them.
Also, there are many misconceptions about funding for meals. The Federal Government and the Pennsylvania Lottery provide only a portion of the total cost.
