[ARCHIVED] Wayne Conservation Plans Free Earth Moving Workshop

HONESDALE -- The Wayne Conservation District hosts a free workshop for anyone involved in excavation and earthwork.

Presentations will be made on erosion and sediment control, working in and around waterways and wetlands, NPDES common plan of development, forestry and logging, and the Dirt and Gravel Low Volume Road program.

District staff as well as special guest speakers from the PA Department of Environmental Protection and the US Army Corps of Engineers will be presenting on their areas of expertise.

There will be complimentary coffee and doughnuts in the morning, and a catered lunch after the morning workshop concludes at noon. T

he workshop will be on February 28 and run from 8:00 am to noon at the Park Street Complex at 648 Park Street, Honesdale, PA 18431.

Seating is limited so please call 570-253-0930 between the hours of 8 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for reservations or with any questions about the event.
