[ARCHIVED] AARP Changes Protocols for Tax Preparations This Year

AARP plans to conduct volunteer tax preparation through the Honesdale Senior Center beginning next week by appointment only.

Volunteers switched to a drop-off service that will be held Thursdays Feb. 17 to April 14. Once individuals call 570-253-4262 they will be mailed a packet to complete prior to their appointment. You must bring the completed paperwork and all required documents to the appointment.

After a brief intake meeting, individuals will be asked ot leave their paperwork and come back in approximately 3 hours to pick up their completed returns. These completed documents must be picked up on the same day as the appointment.

Masks are required.
