HONESDALE -- Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced the second arrest of Kelly Lee Finan, 39, of Honesdale on
11 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, each being a misdemeanor, and 1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
Finan is charged with
On July 15, 2021, Finan was arrested and charged with three felony counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, three more felony counts of Criminal Use of Communication Facility and three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Those charges were filed as a result of an undercover drug investigation conducted by the Wayne County Drug Task Force in Honesdale Borough.
According to the Criminal Complaint Affidavit of Probable Cause, police took Finan into custody while she was driving her vehicle. When she was searched, police found drug paraphernalia. Wayne County Detectives then obtained a search warrant for Finan’s vehicle and during the search, they found crystal methamphetamine, suboxone, ketamine, clonazepam, heroin, marijuana and cocaine in the vehicle.
Finan was arraigned from the Wayne County Correctional Facility, where she is currently housed, by District Justice Linus Myers, who set bail at $10,000.00.
District Attorney Howell thanked the Wayne County Drug Task Force, the Honesdale Borough Police Department and the Pike County Detective Bureau for their assistance in this case. The cooperation of these departments was instrumental in getting a significant drug dealer off the streets of Wayne County.
