HONESDALE Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced the following case were addressed by the President Judge Janine Edwards in Wayne County Court on Dec. 3:
JASON VANVALKENBURG, age 43 of Honesdale Pa, was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 12 months nor more than 60 months or one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver Controlled Substances (F). He was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, and pay restitution. This incident occurred on December 27, 2019, in Paupack Township.
SHANE MICHAEL KNECHT, age 29 of Chester Pa, was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 9 months nor more than 5 years for one count of Receiving Stolen Property (F3). He was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, and pay restitution to the victim. This incident occurred on January 5, 2019, in Lake Township.
MICHAEL ANTHONY CASABIANCA, age 30 of Honesdale Pa, was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 12 months nor more than 36 months for one count of Flight to Avoid Apprehension, Trial or Punishment (F3) and two counts of Simple Assault (M2). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine of $750.00, and pay restitution to the victim. This incident occurred on January 11, 2019, in Lake Township.
BREANN MICHELLE BRESEE, age 24 of Honesdale Pa, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 13 days nor more than 36 months for one count of Criminal Mischief (F3), one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance (M), one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M) and one count of Disorderly Conduct (M3). She was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, pay restitution to the Victims, preform 50 hours of community service, participate in and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with the assessment, obtain employment within 30 days or provide documentation from a doctor precluding her from employment, and obtain her GED. These incidents occurred April 7, 2020 in Berlin Township, May 21, 2020 in Oregon Township, April 13 and May 25, 2020 in Texas Township.
ERIC CHRISTIAN STENGER, age 29 of Madison Township Pa, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 72 hours nor more than 6 months for one count of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance (M). He was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, pay a mandatory minimum fine of $1,000.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow all recommendations for treatment, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and comply with his most recent mental health evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment. This incident occurred on August 28, 2019, in Sterling Township.
TOBY G. KIMBROUGH, age 43 of Carbondale Pa, pleaded guilty to one count of Criminal Conspiracy of Delivery of a Crystal Methamphetamine (F). He was ordered to appear for sentencing on January 21, 2021. This incident occurred on October 4, 2018, in Berlin Township.
ROBERT J. CIUFALO, age 37 of Scranton Pa, pleaded Guilty to one count of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (F2) and one count of Criminal Mischief (F3). He was ordered to appear for sentencing on January 21, 2021. This incident occurred on May 18, 2019, in Dreher.
VINCENT LEVIER, age 48 of Greentown Pa, pleaded guilty to Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M). He was ordered to appear for sentencing on January 7, 2021. This incident occurred on March 16, 2019 in Dreher Township.
ARIELLE JENKINS, age 31 of Honesdale Pa, was sentenced to 5 years probation with 3 days house arrest through the SCRAM program for one count of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance – Impaired Ability (M1). She was also ordered to pay a mandatory minimum fine of $1,000.00 and the enhanced penalty fine of $1,000.00, complete 100 hours of community service, participate and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance to her assessment, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, continue with Children and Youth Services and comply with any recommendations, continue mental health treatment and comply with any recommendations for treatment. This incident occurred on June 1, 2020, in Honesdale Borough.
TIFFANY ANNE BROWNELL, age 32 of Moscow Pa, was sentenced to 18 months probation for one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition (M1). She was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, pay restitution to the victim, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendation for treatment, undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, obtain employment within 30 days or provide documentation from a doctor precluding her from employment, she was also ordered to not go on the premises of the Totem Pole Bar and to have no contact with the victim. This incident occurred on December 10, 2019 in Salem Township.
SHABORN M. ANDRADES, age 26 of Tobyhanna Pa, was sentenced to 12 months probation for one count of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Identity Theft (M1) and one count of Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Promethazine with Codeine (M). He was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, pay a fine of $100.00, and undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment. This incident occurred on May 19, 2020, in Waymart Borough.
GABRIELLA NICHOLE DAVID, age 20 of Honesdale Pa, was sentenced to 12 months probation with 90 days GPS monitoring, for one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M) and one count Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana (M). She was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment and obtain employment within 30 days or provide documentation from a doctor precluding her from employment. This incident occurred on November 14, 2019 in Lake Township.
LAWRENCE JAMES LAZARO, age 45 of Lake Ariel Pa, was sentenced to 12 months probation for one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Heroin (M), one count of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana (M) and two counts of Operation of a Vehicle without Official Certificate of Inspection. He was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, pay a fine of $450.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and participate in treatment with a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service Specialist at Wayne County Drug and Alcohol. These incidents occurred on February 21, 2020 in Honesdale Borough and May 24, 2020 in Lake Township.
TYLER JACOB KELLOGG, age 19 of Lake Ariel Pa, was sentenced to 12 months probation for one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M). He was also ordered to pay a fine of $200.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment. This incident occurred on March 7, 2020, in Salem Township.
AMANDA SINAVAGE, age 35 of Mountain Top Pa, was sentenced to 6 months probation for one count of Dangerous Burning (S) and one count of Harassment (S). She was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, pay a fine of $200.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, and continue with mental health therapy recommendations until successfully discharged. This incident occurred on October 6, 2019, in Paupack Township.
MICHAEL JAMES MORGAN, age 24 of Simpson Pa, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear for a Parole Violation Hearing.
