[ARCHIVED] Four Sent to Prison After Parole, Other Violations

HONESDALE -- Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell reports the follwing cases were addressed by President Judge Janine Edwards in Wayne County Court on Thursday, Nov. 19.

LINDSAY DADDIO, age 30 of East Stroudsburg Pa, previously sentenced on April 9, 2020 to a period not less than 12 months nor more than 60 months in the Wayne County Correctional Facility, for one count of Criminal Conspiracy – Criminal Use of Communication Facility and one count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Heroin), was resentenced to a State Correctional Facility to serve the remainder of her sentence for violating parole. On October 23, 2020 the Defendant tested positive for illegal substances.

MICHAEL ANTHONY MCHUGH, age 23 of Hawley Pa, was sentenced to 9 months probation for one count of Firearms Not to be Carried Without A license. He was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, pay a fine of $300.00, and obtain employment or provide documentation from his doctor precluding him from employment. This incident occurred on February 19, 2020, in Honesdale Borough.

KEVIN MELESKY, age 38 of Humble TX, previously sentenced on April 16, 2020, to a period not less than 6 months nor more than 12 months in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for one count of Theft and DUI was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear for a Parole Violation Hearing. The Defendant is in violation of a Court Order for failing to comply with his payment agreement, failure to undergo a Mental Health Evaluation as well as failing to complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program.

ANGELO TERRANOVA, JR, age 21 of Damascus, previously sentenced on June 18, 2020 to a period of not less than 90 days nor more than 18 months in the Wayne County Correctional Facility, for one count of Retail Theft, was resentenced to the Wayne County Correctional facility for the remainder of his sentence for violating parole. On October 21, 2020 the Defendant tested positive for illegal substances.

BRITTANY WORMUTH, age 25 of Honesdale Pa, was issued a Bench Warrant and had her bail revoked for failure to appear for a Bail Revocation Hearing. On October 29, 2020, the Defendant entered a plea of guilty to one count of criminal use of a communication facility, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count of possession of marijuana.  The Defendant was ordered to contact the Wayne County Probation Department within 24 hours of the guilty plea and failed to do so.
