[ARCHIVED] Elections Office Changes 3 Polling Locations for General Election

HONESDALE (Oct. 7, 2020) – The Wayne County Bureau of Elections has made three changes to voting locations locations for the Nov. 3 General Election for those who wish to cast their ballots in person, at the polls.

Voters in the Damascus 2 will go to the Calkins Baptist Church at 527 Calkins Road, Milanville, to cast their ballots. The polling place had previously been located at the Labor Grange Hall nearby.  This change is expected to be long term.

In Bethany Borough, voters will cast ballots at the Bethany United Methodist Church at 3 Court Street, Bethany for the Nov. 3 General Election. This polling location has been temporarily moved from the Bethany Village Assisted Living Facility in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Finally, the Mount Pleasant Municipal Building at 128 Pleasant View, Pleasant Mount, will host Mount Pleasant Township voters for General Election. This change, from the Pleasant Mount Public Library, will remain in effect until a change is required in the future.

The last day to register to vote or to change your address, name or party affiliation is Oct. 19, and the last day to request a Mail-in or Absentee Ballot is Oct. 27. Both can be accomplished at
