HONESDALE President Judge Janine Edwards handed down the following sentences in Wayne County Court on Oct. 1, according to District Attorney A.G. Howell.
NICHOLAS MATA, 28, of Waymart was sentenced to the State Correctional Institution for a total period of not less than 12 months nor more than 60 months for one count of Burglary, one count of Receiving Stolen Property and one count of Criminal Mischief. He was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, and pay restitution in the amount of $26,524.63. The incidents occurred between August 5 and October 25, 2019, in Sterling Township.
TAWNEY RAE PEETZ, 36, of Lake Como was sentenced to 12 months probation for one count of Endangering the Welfare of Children. She was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution. The incident occurred on December 22, 2019, in Buckingham Township.
ROCCO FRALLICCIARDI, 59, of Lake Ariel was sentenced 48 hours house arrest, 6 months probation, and ordered to pay a fine of $500 for one count of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, comply with drug and alcohol treatment in accordance with his assessment, and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program. This incident occurred on June 22 in Salem Township.
DANIEL SCOTT ABBOTT, 56, of Hawley was sentenced to 6 months probation and ordered to pay a fine of $600 for one count of Disorderly Conduct and one count of Harassment. He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, and undergo anger management. This incident occurred on June 20 in Texas Township.
JESSICA LYNN DUTTER, 25, of Lake Ariel was sentenced to 6 months probation and ordered to pay a fine of $200 for one count of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and one count of Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended/Revoked. She was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations of treatment. This incident occurred on January 2 in Salem Township.
