Every four years, all Area Agency on Aging Offices accross the nation develop a Four-Year Plan to provide guidance in planning services and goals for the older adults in our communities. As we get through this COVID-19 pandemic together, we also recognize the need to plan for the future.

Almost 30 percent of the population of Wayne County is age 60 or over. This number is expected to continue to rise in the coming years.

You are asked to take a few moments to complete the online survey.

The Wayne County Area Agency on Aging will be holding a live stream Public Hearing on April 9 at 1 pm to further discuss the needs of older adults in our community. Please contact the office at 570-253-4262 for additional information.

Agency Administrator Mary Ursich emphasized that the Aging Office is open during this time and available to assist older adults and their families via phone and email.
