HONESDALE --The US Marshals Fugitive Task Force a New Jersey man wanted in Wayne County on drug charges. He had been on the run since March.
Wayne County District Attorney Patrick Robinson said Elijah Watson of Bayonne, NJ,was arrested without incident on Aug. 17 and turned over to detectives from the DA's Office on Sept. 17, after waiving extradition. He faces six felony charges all relating to the delivery of heroin throughout Wayne County and stemming from an undercover operation by County Detectives and the Wayne County Drug Task Force in October 2017.
District Justice Bonnie Carney arraigned Watson on all charges and set bail at $100,000. He was remanded to the Wayne County Correctional Facility and will appear in Central Court on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 9 am.
