HONESDALE -- A Florida man received a county prison sentence for two counts of Terroristic Threats in the Wayne County Court of Common Pleas. President Judge Janine sent MATTHEW SLUTTER, 25, of Pompano Beach, FL, to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 8 months nor more than 23 ½ months for those misdemeanor counts.
He was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, undergo drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, undergo mental health evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment. Attend and complete an anger management class approved by parole officer. The incident occurred on June 19, 2018 in Dreher Township.
Judge Edwards also handed down the following sentences on Aug. 22:
THOMAS LODINI, 24, of Hawley was placed on probation for a period of 6 months for one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and complete 25 hours of community service. The incident occurred on August 10, 2018 in Honesdale Borough.
LANCE PEAK, 35, of Honesdale was placed on probation for a period of 6 months for one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendation for treatment. Obtain employment within 30 days of sentencing or provide documentation from a doctor precluding you from employment and complete 25 hours of community service. The incident occurred on November 4, 2018 in Honesdale Borough.
MATTHEW MCDEVITT, 54, of Honesdale was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to DUI. He was also ordered to pay all Court costs and perform 25 hours of community service and have his operator’s privileges suspended for 60 days. The incident occurred on March 6 in Texas Township. His blood test revealed a BAC of .239%.
DANIEL MILLER, 24, of Forest City was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to DUI. He was also ordered to pay all Court costs and perform 25 hours of community service and have his operator’s privileges suspended for 60 days. The incident occurred on April 6 in South Clinton Township. His blood test revealed a BAC of .23%.
JOHN RORICK, 64, of Scranton was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to DUI. He was also ordered to pay all Court costs and perform 25 hours of community service and have his operator’s privileges suspended for 60 days. The incident occurred on February 2 in Salem Township. His blood test revealed a BAC of .114%.
LENI WISNIEWSKI, 22, of Tobyhanna was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to Theft. She was also ordered to pay all Court costs and perform 25 hours of community service. The incident occurred on October 9-29, 2018 in Lehigh Township.

Senior Judge Raymond Hamill placed RYLEE SMYTH, 25, of Hawley on probation for a period of 6 months for one count of Possession of Controlled Substance (Heroin/Cocaine) (M). She was also order to pay the costs of prosecution, continue with drug and alcohol treatment and comply with any recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on December 19, 2017 in Honesdale Borough.
