HONESDALE -- Senior Judge Raymond Hamill sentenced GINO ANTIFORMI, 31, of PA a State Correctional Institution for a period of not less than 34 months nor more than 108 months for one count of Persons Not to Possess Firearms (M1), Recklessly Endangering Another Person (M2), and Criminal Mischief (M2). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay restitution jointly with co-defendants of $4,670.96. The incident occurred on July 21, 2011 in Cherry Ridge Township.
The following sentenced were handed down Aug. 1 by Wayne County President Judge Janine Edwards:
VERONICA DEANGELO, 48, of Hawley was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Faculty for a period of not less than 8 month nor more than 23 1/2 months for one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition (M1) and one count of Access Device Fraud: Using Credit Card Belonging to Another (M1). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution and pay restitution in the amount $1,031.58. Undergo drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendation for treatment. Continue mental health treatment and comply with any recommendations for treatment. These incidents occurred on January 19 and February 10 in Palmyra and Salem Township.
STEPHEN GELATT, 20, of Honesdale was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 4 months nor more than 23 1/2 months for one count of Simple Assault (M2). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, also undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with all recommendation for treatment. Obtain employment with 30 days of parole or documentation from a doctor precluding you from employment. The incident occurred on April 13 in Honesdale Borough.
ADAM GELATT, 37, of Milanville was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 4 months nor more than 12 months for one count of Defiant Trespass (M3). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on January 11 in Berlin Township.
NINA BELL, 21, of Honesdale was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Faculty for a period of not less than 72 hours nor more than 6 months for one count of DUI-Controlled Substance (M). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount $1,000.00, participate in and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment, and attend and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program. The incident occurred on September 23, 2018, in Canaan Township. Her blood test revealed she was on Marijuana with a BAC of 24 ng/mL.
TATIANA MIKHAIKLOV, 47, of Lords Valley was placed on probation for a period of 9 months for one count of Retail Theft- Take Merchandise (M2). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution and pay restitution in the amount of $104.52. Continue mental health treatment and comply with any recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on March 4, 11, & 22, 2018 in Salem Township.
WHITNEY MACONEGHY, 22, of Clifton Township was placed on probation for 6 months for one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M), Driving without a License (S) and Maximum Speed Limit- Exceed by 15 MPH (S). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, and perform 25 hours of community service. The incident occurred on January 19 in Salem Township.
TAMARA HAMPL, 50, of Gouldsboro was placed in the Intermediate Punishment Program for a period of 6 months one count of DUI (M). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution. Comply will treatment recommendations in accordance with the drug and alcohol assessment, attend and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program. Perform 25 hours of community service. The incident occurred on June 19, 2018, in Salem Township. Her blood test revealed a BAC of .103%.
HENRY PADULA, age 20 of Jefferson Township PA was placed in the Intermediate Punishment Program for a period of 6 months one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, comply with all recommendations of your drug and alcohol assessment, attend and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and perform 25 hours of community service. The incident occurred on March 26 in Salem Township.
