[ARCHIVED] Police Arrest Second Suspect in Tobacco Store Robbery

Tyson Blount arrested on a felony robbery charge.

HONESDALE -- Wayne County District Attorney Patrick Robinson announced the arrest of a second suspect in the robbery at the Tri-State Tobacco store at 350 Grandview Avenue in Honesdale late last year.

PA State Police arrested Tyson C. Blount, 34, of Roslyn, PA, for felony robbery and related charges. Police allege Blount and two accomplices stole in excess of $19,000  from the store.

One of the accomplices, Terrell Boozer, was arrested in Philadelphia last week and was jailed in Wayne County. Blount was arraigned before District Justice Linus Myers and was remanded to the Wayne County Correctional Facility in lieu of $150,000 bail. His initial court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 30.
