HONESDALE (June 29, 2018) – The Wayne Conservation District has postponed a community educational program on the methods and benefits of harvesting rainwater, set for Thursday, July 12, due to a lack of participants. The rain barrel workshop will be rescheduled to the fall.
At that time presenters, from both the Conservation District and the Lake Wallenpaupack Watershed Management District, will discuss the cycles within a watershed as well as rain barrel design and maintenance.
Each participant will be offered a rain barrel at the conclusion of the workshop;
