The Wayne Conservation District is hosting a series of workshops focused on completing your Manure Management Manual. Attendants will be given a presentation on how to complete their manure management plan, along with how to map their farm. Two sessions are scheduled: Saturday, April 14, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and  Friday, May 11, from  1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  The workshops will be held at the Park Street Complex located at 648 Park Street in Honesdale.

The workshops will be informative and brief at three hours each. Attendees will receive a manure manual and a free Penn State Soil Sample Kit. Property owners should be able to complete their Manual that day or at home. A presentation on PA Onestop will also be provided. Light refreshments will be served. Please register for the April 14 session by April 9, and by May 7 for the May 11 meeting.

If you have a riding club or a group, a private workshop can be scheduled at your convenience. Register online or contact the Wayne Conservation District Nutrient Management Specialist, Zach Jones, at 570-253-0930 or email
