[ARCHIVED] Judge Issues Sentences of Intermediate Punishment, Probation & ARD

Senior Judge Raymond Hamill handed down the following sentences in Wayne County Court, Thursday, March 8:

WALTER KORMAN, 63, of Damascus was sentenced to probation for a period of 6 months for one count of Possession of Controlled Substance-Marijuana, an ungraded Misdemeanor. He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $300, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, and continue with mental health treatment. The incident occurred on December 8 in Damascus Township.

CHRISTINA FARRACHI, 26, of Lake Ariel was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 30 days followed immediately by 12 months less 30 days in the Intermediate Punishment Program for Possession of Controlled Substance, an ungraded misdemeano . She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, be placed on GPS monitoring for a period of 90 days, and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation. The incident occurred on September 24, 2017, in Palmyra Township.

ADAM VITIELLO, 31, of Hawley was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to DUI. He was also ordered to pay all Court costs and perform 40 hours of community service and have his operator’s privilege suspended for 30 days.The incident occurred on May 27 in Hawley Borough. His BAC was a .140%.

KENTRINA KIMBALL, 31, of Honesdale was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to DUI. She was also ordered to pay all Court costs and perform 40 hours of community service and have her operator’s privilege suspended for 60 days. The incident occurred on April 5 in Berlin Township. Her blood draw tested positive for a Controlled Substance.
