Our Mission:
From Housing First to Self-Sufficiency
We are dedicated to ending homelessness in Wayne County by granting access to safe, affordable, and permanent housing options. Our goal is to encourage self-sustainability so that homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring.
Program availability is provided with grant funding and subject to change based on funding availability. Anyone experiencing a housing crisis is welcome to call or email us for guidance.
All referrals must come through 2-1-1. Once our Housing staff receives the referral, an assessment will be completed to verify housing barriers, needs and preferences
If you’re experiencing a housing crisis, please call 2-1-1 or (855) 567-5341, including homelessness or near homelessness. Internal referrals are accepted for our Transitional Age Youth apartments.
It is illegal to discriminate in the sale or rental of housing, including against individuals seeking a mortgage or housing assistance, or in other housing-related activities. The Fair Housing Act prohibits this discrimination because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, and disability.
